Warranty Explained

Warranty Period is stated in the item details.

Warranty is provided by Carbon I.T Sales Ltd.

Refurbished Items warranty covers hardware only, Warranty does not cover software issues, file corruption, internet setup etc.

No warranty cover on batteries on refurbished items. All batteries are provided as holding charge but as they are not new they may not hold charge for as long as a new battery’s.

Warranty does not cover wear and tear, port damage i.e Charge port failure, USB port failure or any other wear & tear type ports.

Keys are not covered under Warranty either failure or wear and tear.

We have the right inspect all items & make our own decision on the items condition unless provided with a professional engineers report from a qualified I.T Engineer upon arrival.

All our items come with unique warranty seal, We only accept items for warranty claims if the warranty seal & code are still intact and the warranty number is provided. It is the customers responsibility to provide warranty to codes to make a claim. Items returned with no warranty seal will not be replaced or repaired.

The customer is responsible for ALL carriage costs for warranty & non warranty work or returns.

Carbon I.T can provide shipping at additional cost*.

Your Data.

Carbon I.T is not responsible for any personal data held on any item , All data must be backed up by the customer before the item is returned. All personal data will be erased to abide data protection law.

Warranty Returns & Handling.

All items must be returned in the original state and packaging.

Any items not returned in there original packaging there will be a fee of £6.50+VAT for repacking the item for shipping.

We reserves the right to test “dead on arrival” returns and impose a customer fee equal to 50% of the product sales price if the customer misrepresents the condition of the product or the reason for return.

In the event of a NO FAULT FOUND return there will be a fee of £35+ VAT payable to Carbon I.T Sales Ltd for the testing process & Data destruction.

In the event of a NO FAULT FOUND return the if the OS needed to be re-installed there is a fee of £35+VAT payable to Carbon I.T for the installation process.

ANY ITEM NOT COLLECTED WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER WARRANTY WORK OR NON WARRANTY WORK WILL BECOME PROPERTY OF CARBON I.T TO DISPOSE OF HOW EVER SEEN FIT.

Any returned item that is damaged through customer misuse, or missing parts, or is in un-sellable condition due to tampering will result in the customer being charged a fee based on the condition of the product.

Trade & Purchase order T&C’s

All orders placed as trade or via PO will only be shipped on full clearance of funds & any deposit taken to secure PO is NON Refundable if the PO or order is cancelled for any reason by the buyer.

If Carbon I.T Sales Ltd cannot for-fill the order or PO for any reason funds received will be fully refunded.
